PTI to challenge Imran Khan's arrest in SC
The PTI spokesperson added that session court's verdict is the worst example of political revenge, engineering.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Saturday announced to challenge the arrest of Chairman Imran Khan in Tosha Khana case in the Supreme Court.
According to details, spokesperson of PTI said that Toshakhana case will place another black mark in the face of justice system, declaring it an attempt to kill justice in the worst trial in history.
The PTI spokesperson added that session court's verdict is the worst example of political revenge, engineering.
Sessions Judge Islamabad Humayun Dilawar sentenced Chairman PTI to three years imprisonment and a fine of Rs100,000 for concealing the facts in the Tosha Khana case. Court also issued an arrest warrant for Imran Khan.
After the court order, the police arrested Imran Khan from his residence Zaman Park in Lahore.
