In order to meet their charter of demand, no tickets would be granted to travellers between 3 and 5 o'clock, according to Rana Kashif.
Earlier, The People’s Unity of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) CBA union on Wednesday announced to go on strike against the privatisation of the national airline from Thursday.
President of the PIA CBA consortium Hidayatullah addressed a press conference to make the announcement that starting on Thursday, all district-level booking offices of the national airline will be shut for two hours as a symbolic strike.
He issued a 48-hour deadline for the PIA management and the interim government to abandon plans to privatize the state-run airline.
“The union will take important decisions on Friday,” he said.
