Jonathan Bush, brother of George Bush, passes away

Jonathan Bush was also the uncle of former President George W. Bush.

The Florida native passed away at his home just one day short of his 90th birthday. He was the last surviving sibling among the five Bush sibnlings. George H.W. Bush died in 2018 in Houston, his sister sister, Nancy Bush Ellis, died in January while brother William Henry Trotter Bush also died in 2018, and brother Prescott S. Bush Jr. died in 2010.

Jonathan Bush was very supportive of both his nephews’ political careers, raising funds and running the campaign for both George W. Bush and his brother Jeb Bush who was the Governor of Florida.
