Karachi: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday inaugurated a water treatment plant, a significant endeavor to address the needs of the Hyderabad city’s population.
Former provincial ministers Sharjeel Memon, Nasir Shah, and Nisar Khoro, as well as Hyderabad Mayor Kashif Shoro and former chief minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah, reportedly attended the ceremony to officially inaugurate the MGD 6 water filter facility.
The Latifabad and Hussainabad regions of Hyderabad, which are home to an estimated 200,000 people, will soon have access to clean, safe drinking water thanks to the MGD 6 water filter plant, which has a daily capacity of six million gallons.
The improvement of public health and raising the standard of living in these areas will be aided by this program.
The importance of this infrastructure improvement for Hyderabad's future was emphasized during Managing Director Vasa's thorough project briefing to Bilawal Bhutto during the opening.
The Wahdat Colony Agricultural Complex in Hyderabad hosted the event, where Bilawal Bhutto was given a warm welcome by the locals and workers. Flowers were also left as a token of appreciation for his efforts to increase water accessibility and enhance living conditions in the city.
