PTI loses another seat in AJK Assembly
The Election Tribunal also canceled the notification of victory of PTI candidate Chaudhary Maqbool Gujjar.
Kashmir: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lost one more seat in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
According to details, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Chaudhry Ismail had applied for rigging in the results of LA 35 Jammu-2 and the Election Tribunal had declared the election null and void as the rigging was proved.
The Election Tribunal also canceled the notification of victory of PTI candidate Chaudhary Maqbool Gujjar.
In the judgment issued by the tribunal, it was said that the election of LA 35 Jammu-2 should be annulled and re-conducted.
The tribunal also ordered the Election Commission to take action against officials involved in rigging.
