Gaza: Aid trucks have starting entering Gaza through the Rafah Corridor.

According to foreign media, aid trucks have started entering Gaza from the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, the US Embassy said that they have information that aid trucks started entering Gaza through the Rafah Corridor at 10 am local time.

According to the Hamas media office, 20 aid trucks carrying medicines, medical equipment and some food are due to enter Gaza today.

Arab and Gulf media have also confirmed the entry of Rafah aid trucks into Gaza.

Earlier, the executive director of the World Food Program called for access to Gaza for humanitarian aid workers, saying that the ongoing conflict in Gaza is affecting civilians badly, with food and water becoming scarcer with each passing day. The shortage is increasing while medicines and other items are also in short supply.

“We have truckloads waiting to deliver food to about 500,000 people, but we don't have access to Gaza, so the people there need aid and we should be allowed to distribute it anyway,” he said.

On the other hand, the United Nations agency working for Palestine stated that since the beginning of war in Gaza, 17 of its staff members have lost their lives, while there is a fear of an increase in death toll.

It is pertinent to note that the number of Palestinians martyred in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has exceeded 4100, while 1400 Israelis have also been killed in Hamas attacks.
