Ban applies not only to Indian-owned aircraft but also to military and civilian aircraft leased by India

(Web Desk): Pakistan has decided to extend its airspace closure for India by another month. The Pakistan Airport Authority has issued a notification extending the ban, stating that Pakistani airspace will remain closed for Indian aircraft until September 23.
This marks the fourth consecutive month that Pakistan has barred Indian aircraft from using its airspace.
It is worth noting that on April 23, India announced the immediate suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty following the alleged killing of 26 tourists in the Muslim-majority area of Pahalgam in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
In response, on April 24, Pakistan announced the suspension of airspace access, cross-border movement, and all forms of trade with India.
The Pakistan Airport Authority first extended the airspace closure for Indian flights on May 23, followed by another one-month extension on June 23.
On July 19, the Authority issued a new NOTAM (Notice to Airmen), stating that the ban would remain in place until 4:59 AM on August 24, Pakistani time.
It was also confirmed that the ban applies not only to Indian-owned aircraft but also to military and civilian aircraft leased by India.
