13 killed, over 50 injured in Indian train collision
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy issued orders for immediate relief operations from the state capital Amravati.
Andhra Pradesh: In an unfortunate incident, 13 people killed while more than 50 sustained the injuries when two passenger trains collided in Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
According to Indian Railway officials, a passenger train between Almanda and Kantakappalli railway stations collided between Visakhapatnam Palsa and Visakhapatnam Regada due to possible human error, resulting in derailment of several coaches.
Officials stated that rescue operations are underway at the site of accident while investigations have been started to find out the causes of incident.
