At least Eight dead, 26 injured in firing on Passenger bus in Chilas
The police say some unidentified attackers initiated a gun assault on the bus, leading to its subsequent ignition.
Chilas: A tragic incident unfolded in Chilas, Gilgit-Baltistan, on Saturday as assailants targeted a passenger bus, resulting in the loss of at least eight lives and leaving over two dozen individuals injured.
According to information from law enforcement, unidentified attackers initiated a gun assault on the bus, leading to its subsequent ignition. Among the wounded were women and children. The targeted bus was en route from Ghizer valley to Rawalpindi.

The sources report that 26 injured individuals have been transported to the Regional Headquarters Hospital Chilas for necessary medical care.
