Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed Russia's willingness to provide assistance to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Gaza and help de-escalate the ongoing conflict.

Despite backing a UN Security Council resolution for a Gaza ceasefire, which was unfortunately vetoed by the United States, Russia continues to advocate for an international monitoring mission to assess the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The United Nations resolution for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza faced a US veto, despite receiving support from the majority of Security Council members and 97 countries, including Pakistan. Israel, engaged in conflict with Hamas, has vowed to destroy the group and free hostages.
In response to escalating violence, Israel has issued evacuation orders for civilians in northern Gaza to move south, causing panic and fear among the population. However, international aid groups criticize these orders, stating that nowhere in Gaza is safe for civilians, including hospitals, shelters, and refugee camps.

As the death toll in Gaza surpasses 17,700, with 48,780 people wounded in Israeli attacks, the situation remains dire. Hamas, in a pre-recorded message, declares that Israeli captives will not be released through military force and calls for negotiations.
