According to the police, action will be taken against the driver of both private or government vehicle for not having a license.


Islamabad: The police of Islamabad Thursday decided to take strict action against drivers without driving license in Islamabad.
According to Traffic Police Islamabad, it has been decided to check the driving license at the entrances and exits of the federal capital and if a driver is without a license, the vehicle will not be allowed to enter or drive in Islamabad.
According to the police, action will be taken against the driver of both private or government vehicle for not having a license and in this regard letters have been sent to educational institutions including the Chief Police Officer of Safe City Police.
Apart from this, it has been decided to deploy officials at the intersections for license checking and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sarfraz Virk has also issued orders to the traffic zone in-charge officers to implement this.
