Chairman NAB says: “We won’t bother officers now”
Nazir further stated: “We want to assure the officers that they won’t be on media trial during inquiry and verification process from NAB".
Hyderabad: The chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Nazir Ahmed said that the officers can now openly play a key role for the development of the country, NAB won’t bother them.
Addressing the Civil bureaucracy in Sindh Secretariat, Nazir Ahmed remarked that NAB’s purpose is to eliminate the corruption issues in aa ethical way not to fear someone.
Nazir further stated: “We want to assure the officers that they won’t be on media trial during inquiry and verification process from NAB. New reforms are coming into the department.”
However, NAB won’t entertain any anonymous applications from now on. The applicants must come and submit their applications with affidavits.
Adding on to that Chairman NAB said: “We know bureaucrats are working under pressure. Amid to the cases in the department the construction projects should not be delayed. It should be completed on time.”
He announced to setup a facilitative desk in the chief secretary’s Sindh’s office where the complaints of Sindh Secretariat officials will be entertained immediately.
