Pakistan uses five types of weapons in Iran’s strike

Islamabad: Pakistan Army has shared details of strike against militants in Iran saying hideouts used by terrorist corporation, namely Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), were successfully hit in an intelligence-based operation named ‘Marg Bar Sarmachar’.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Pakistan executed effective strikes against hideouts in Iran used by terrorists who are responsible for recent attacks in Pakistan.

ISPR stated: “The fidelity strikes were executed using killer drones, rockets, loitering munitions and stand-off weapons. Maximum caution was taken to avoid collateral damage.” 

The military’s media group said the targeted hideouts were being used by flagrant terrorists including Dosta alias Chairman, Bajjar alias Soghat, Sahil alias Shafaq, Asghar alias Basham and Wazir alias Wazi, amongst others.

ISPR further stated that Pakistan Armed Forces remain in a constant state of promptness to make sure the security of citizens against terrorism.  

The armed forces’ resolve to ensure that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan are esteemed and secured against any misadventure, remains unwavering.

Inter-Services Public Relations remarked: “We declared our determination to defeat all enemies of Pakistan with the support of the people of Pakistan”.

The military’s media wing also endorsed the need of meaningful cooperation in resolving bilateral issues between the two brother countries.

The ISPR's statement comes after the Foreign Office confirmed that Pakistan targeted terrorist hideouts inside the Iranian border after Iran violated the country’s sovereignty and launched a strike in Balochistan that left two children dead and injured three girls.
