The sources say that the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, China and Saudi Arabia are likely to take part in the outsourcing arrangements for all three airports.

Islamabad: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is accelerating the outsourcing process for Islamabad International Airport.
The sources revealed that the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, China, and Saudi Arabia are particularly keen on participating in the outsourcing arrangements for all three airports.
“A comprehensive plan for outsourcing the airport was developed, with interest expressed by several countries, including Qatar, Turkey, and China,” they said.
The federal government has issued tenders, inviting applications for the outsourcing of Islamabad International Airport for a duration of 15 years.
Following the decision to outsource, CAA unions initiated a protest movement. Despite attempts by then Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad to negotiate with union leaders amidst ongoing protests, the talks ultimately proved unsuccessful.
A crucial session of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) took place in Dubai to discuss the outsourcing strategy for the capital's airport. International firms participated in the session, demonstrating their interest in the outsourcing plan for Islamabad airport.
It is noteworthy that the government has made the decision to outsource airports in Karachi, Lahore, and the capital city.
