According to ECP, 92,353 polling stations will be established across the country for the election.


Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has prepared the final polling scheme for the general elections scheduled to be held on February 8.
According to the details, the Election Commission has completed 75% of the work for general elections and according to the polling scheme, 92,353 polling stations will be established across the country for the election.
The ECP has declared 6040 polling stations in Punjab, 4726 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7802 in Sindh and 2038 in Balochistan as highly sensitive. And in this regard, the Election Commission has sent a letter to the Provincial Election Commissioners.
The Election Commission is working on the Election Management System (EMS) to ensure the conduct of the general elections scheduled on February 8 across the country.
According to the reports, 52,412 polling stations will be setup in Punjab during the general elections, of which 30,755 are normal, 15,617 are sensitive and 6040 polling stations have been declared as highly sensitive.
