Moscow: The rising tensions in the Middle East pushed oil prices higher again.

According to reports, oil prices have recorded a rise again on Tuesday after falling more than one percent in the previous session.

Brent crude futures were up by 07 cents, or 0.07 percent to settle at $82.46 per barrel. While US West Texas Intermediate crude was up by 15 cents, or 0.31 percent and settled at $76.93 a barrel.

It is pertinent to note that United States has vowed to take all necessary measures to defend its troops after a deadly drone attack by militants in Jordan, and if tensions between the United States and Iran increase, it will affect Iran's oil supply.

In such a situation, experts have shown the possibility of further increase in oil prices.
