Celebrities alert people for going to polling stations

Islamabad: Famous celebrities of Pakistan have given a message to their fans on social media after casting their votes in the general elections.

While the political arguments continue regarding the general elections, actors and celebrities also appeared to cast their votes.

Actor Usman Khalid Butt turned to X and urged people to vote with his picture of thumb showing vote casting.

Usman also informed: “Mobile phones and digital watches are not allowed inside the polling station”.

If you didn’t print your information (from messaging 8300), just memorize your block code and serial number or write it down before entering. It’ll help make the process easier, added the actor.

On the other hand, in the post made by actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, he uploaded a picture along with the caption that he has voted.

Actress Hina Bayat Khan also uploaded a video on Instagram in which she claimed that citizens were queuing up from 8 o'clock but voting process was not starting. The staff and presiding officer were present, however due to the absence of some polling agents, voting was not started.

The actress said that by the grace of Allah she has casted her vote and you should do your duty and leave the rest to Allah.
