ECP rejects Liaqat Ali’s allegations
It should be noted that ECP gave all this explanation amid allegations of Liaqat Ali Chattah.
Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected the Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaqat Ali Chattah’s allegation amid rigging in general elections’ results.
According to the details, the ECP has cleared the whole situation about Commissioner’s press conference.
Spokesperson of ECP stated that the chief election commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja and the others have never directed Liaqat Ali Chattah to change the elections’ results.
He said that any division’s commissioner is not Returning officer (RO), District Returning officer (DRO) neither presiding officer.
Spokesperson affirmed that any commissioner does not have a direct role in conduction elections. ECP will further proceed of this matter soon.
It should be noted that ECP gave all this explanation amid allegations of Liaqat Ali Chattah.
