According to the details, it is stated in the show cause notice that due to Sher Afzal’s statement the situation got tensed. PTI has directed Sher Afzal to submit an apology within two days.
It should be noted that PTI’s leader Sher Afzal Marwat claimed that Barrister Ali Zafar was brought forward due to the incompetence and poor performance of Barrister Gohar Ali Khan after rigging the elections.
He had said that the approach of the leadership after the elections’ results was not commendable, Barrister Gohar should have taken the lead but he failed badly.
However, Sher Afzal welcomed the decision to nominate Barrister Ali Zafar as a candidate for the post of PTI Chairman in the intra-party elections and said that Barrister Gohar Sharif is a kind human being and he sympathized with him but his performance as chairman was not satisfactory.
