Barrister Gohar terms assembly session as illegal
He hoped that election commission’s verdict will be according to the law.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan stated that the national assembly’s session will be illegal until the verdict comes on specific reserve seats.
According to the details, Gohar Ali was talking to the media in Islamabad outside the office of Election Commission.
Gohar said that assembly session cannot be held until the verdict comes on specific reserve seats. He hoped that election commission’s verdict will be according to the law.
He claimed that Sindh and Punjab assembly’s session were also illegal. Election commission should take the notice against it and there is no right of anyone on the specific reserve seats of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).
PTI’s leader affirmed that his party’s 86 members have joined the SIC. The four pleas have been sent to election commission hoped that tomorrow the verdict will be coming on that.
The 90 members have joined SIC in KP and 7 members have joined SIC in Balochistan. On the other hand, 107 members have joined SIC in Punjab.
