PSL 9: Kings to chase 178-run target in must-win clash with Qalandars
The Qalandars made 177 run off five wickets by batting first in 26th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 at Rawalpindi Stadium tonight.
Rawalpindi: Lahore Qalandars set a target of 178 runs for Karachi Kings in a crucial Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 encounter at Rawalpindi Stadium on Saturday night.
Abdullah Shafique showcased an impressive performance, scoring 55 runs off 39 balls, while Fakhar Zaman contributed a vital 54 runs off 35 balls, bolstering their team's position significantly. However, Mirza Baig managed only 4 runs off seven balls, Shai Hope 9, Shaheen Afridi 1, Sikandar Raza 22, and David Wiese added 24 runs to the Qalandars' total.
In the earlier stages of the match, Karachi Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first against Lahore Qalandars.
