Neither I’m injured nor broken bone, Anwar Maqsood reacts to abduction rumours

Lahore: Renowned senior script writer, host and humorist Anwar Maqsood refuted another round of false claims on social media regarding his abduction and mistreatment.
Anwar Maqsood expressed deep distress over abduction rumours, saying that he is very disturbed and couldn’t sleep for such speculations.
The reaction came days after the rumours went viral on the social media about senior writer Anwar Maqsood that he was arrested and tortured for talking against the present government.
Maqsood said that he faced embarrassment due to this misinformation as he received well wishes from his fans. He said that whatever is propagated has no link with him.
The writer further said that being a Pakistani , he has great love for his soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the sovereignty of country. He said that how he could do any tweet when he has not even a single camera.
Reacting on the false news, Maqsood said “ There are 42 accounts running on social media with his picture and all of these are fake. I complained to the FIA and police and asked them to get these accounts closed. People must know how far a particular political party can go to achieve its motives."
Maqsood also mentioned about a video which is uploaded by his son Bilal Maqsood on Instagram . In the video Anwar Maqsood could be seen in kitchen making biryani.
The columnist said that if he had injuries how could he make biryani. He said that he was making biryani on this day also. Maqsood said “If the rumours are supposed to right then some other would make me biryani for three days as according to these rumours I’m injured and has broken bone.”
The legendary writer said that all these rumours are false and baseless.
