The terrorist Sahra was involved in the attack on the security forces post in Mir Ali on March 16


Rawalpindi: Eight terrorists were killed in an operation by security forces in North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an operation on the night of March 17 and 18 on the information of the presence of terrorists in North Waziristan. Dring which eight terrorists were killed in a bilateral exchange of fire.
ISPR stated that high value target terrorist commander Sahra alias Janan is also included among the dead terrorists.
According to ISPR, the terrorist Sahra was involved in the attack on the security forces post in Mir Ali on March 16 and the terrorist commander was wanted by the law enforcement agencies.
ISPR added that Pakistan's security forces are determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.
It is pertinent to note that on March 16, terrorists attacked a check post of the Pakistan Army in Waziristan's Mir Ali area, in which several suicide attacks were carried out, as a result of which five soldiers were martyred. While a captain and a lieutenant colonel were martyred in the operation that followed the attacks, six terrorists were killed.
