Once in orbit, the satellite is performing as per designed

Islamabad: The first image of the Moon by iCube Qamar has been received.
Pakistan had launched a historic space mission to the moon. The launch of the satellite iCube Qamar was telecast live.
The satellite was jointly developed by China's Shanghai University and Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), to take pictures of the lunar surface. Qamar is equipped with two optical cameras.
According to reports, Dr Khurram Khurshid, Dr Qamar-ul-Salam are in China. The subsystems will be evaluated in orbit testing and verification. The verification of all subsystems may take approximately one week before the satellite imaging system becomes operational.
According to a SUPARCO spokesman, the satellite is performing as designed after reaching orbit, with data from all subsystems giving excellent results and, imaging payload fully operational.
It should be noted that iCube Qamar was launched from Wencheng Space Center in Henan, China on May 3.
Two days ago, Pakistan's first satellite iCube Qamar entered the lunar orbit. This space mission is evaluating subsystems in orbit testing and verification.
