The court should order the FIA, NAB and other relevant institutions to investigate the Dubai leaks

Lahore: An application was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) to conduct an investigation into the Dubai leaks by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The petition was filed in the High Court by citizen Mashkoor Hussain through Nadeem Sarwar Advocate, in which the Federal Government, NAB, FIA and others have been made parties.
In the petition, it was said that the names of many Pakistani politicians and businessmen appeared in the Dubai leaks. It is necessary for every politician to disclose all his domestic and foreign properties. The court should order the FIA, NAB and other relevant institutions to investigate the Dubai leaks.
The petition requested that an investigation should be conducted to ensure that the properties bought in Dubai were not done through money laundering, and that action be ordered against the owners if they were found to be illegal properties in Dubai.
