Hamza Akbar will face Thailand's Pasa Korn Sethikrai in the second round
(Web Desk): Pakistan beat India in the professional snooker qualifying tournament on Thursday.
Hamza defeated Laxman Rawat 4 - 2 in the Q School Asia tournament while Hamza Akbar also played a break of 113 in the final frame against the Indian Q. Hamza Akbar will face Thailand's Pasa Korn Sethikrai in the second round.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's Haris Tahir also won his first match in the Q School tournament, defeating China's Dong Xiao 4-1.
Every year 12 players from the 4Q School Tournament make it to professional snooker.
