Former President Alvi defends Imran Khan over ‘controversial tweet’
Arif Alvi mentions that the youth are misled about the founder of PTI, and there are claims that social media is leading the younger generation astray
Islamabad: Former President Arif Alvi said that Imran Khan merely suggested reading the Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report and did nothing wrong.
Speaking to the media, Arif Alvi mentioned that the youth were misled about the founder of PTI, and there were claims that social media was leading the younger generation astray.
He noted that foreign investment would not come until people had confidence in the government. “Don't destroy the economy,” he warned, questioning, “Can MQM win in Karachi?”
The former president emphasized that the issue of intolerance is not related to the founder of PTI.
He urged a closer examination of how the situation can be improved, calling for the establishment of the rule of law and the return of the mandate. “Not engaging in dialogue is unwise,” he concluded.
