The mercury will remain between 42 and 46 degrees in several cities of Punjab and Sindh


Karachi: Heat is raging in most of the country's plains, in view of which the Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature in Sindh will go up to 47 degrees today (Monday).
According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury will remain between 42 and 46 degrees in several cities of Punjab and Sindh. In comparison, the temperature in Jacobabad and Sukkur is predicted to be 47 degrees.
The Department of Meteorology stated that the temperature will be 45 degrees Celsius in Lahore, 42 degrees Celsius in Peshawar, 40 degrees Celsius in Islamabad and 38 degrees Celsius in Quetta.
According to the Meteorological Department, after a very hot day, there is a possibility of wind and rain in different places of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan in the evening or night.
Moreover, clouds may rain in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Rajanpur, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar, Swat, Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, and Hyderabad.
