Imran Khan confesses he had called peaceful protest outside GHQ
PTI founder says he will ask his members of parliament in the federal government, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to go on a hunger strike
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan confessed that he had called for a peaceful protest in front of the General Headquarters before his arrest.
In an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan mentioned that he would ask his members of parliament in the federal government, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to go on a hunger strike.
Imran Khan also claimed that the approvers are being prepared against him in the May 9 cases.
The PTI founder accused the PML-N of signing expensive agreements with IPPs during their tenure, leading to uncontrollable electricity prices. He called for the establishment of a judicial commission to ascertain the facts about the Bannu incident.
The PTI founder further commented on the dire state of the national economy, saying that he is innocent and that he would not apologize to anyone.
