Lahore: In order to ensure entry of clean water to river, the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) will complete two waste water treatment plants on priority basis.

According to local media, the decision was taken in a consultation meeting held between RUDA Chief Executive Officer Imran Amin and Wasa Managing Director Syed Zahid Aziz.
The RDA CEO visited Wasa Head Office and met with the Wasa MD to discuss about the two waste water treatment plants.
“It is principally decided that RUDA will complete two waste water treatment plants at Mehmood Booti and Shahdara under its supervision,” said Wasa MD who also assured provision of all necessary technical assistance to RUDA in completion with the two projects.
“All data related to further projects would be provided to RUDA,” he added.
Imran Amin said that the completion of wastewater projects is crucial for RUDA and appreciated Wasa for providing technical support in the projects.
He said RUDA would complete both projects in Phase 1. The Wasa MD said that Wasa would complete two other waste water projects at Babu Sabu and Kartar Bund Road.
