Air Force Day celebrated with enthusiasm across country today
Pilots of the Pakistan Air Force surprised the world with their combat skills
Islamabad: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) played an important role in the India-Pakistan war. Air Force Day is being celebrated across the country on Saturday.
The purpose of celebrating this day is to pay tribute to the achievements of the Pakistan Air Force in the September 1965 India-Pakistan War.
The Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force turned the tide of the war by shooting down more than 50 aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on September 6 and 7 in the Indo-Pak War, the pilots of the Pakistan Air Force surprised the world with their combat skills.
Today, all the small and big air bases of the country will display the memorials of the 1965 war.
