Women's T20 World Cup: Pakistan team leaves for Dubai
On October 6, the Pakistan Women's Cricket Team will face India in the second match
Lahore: The Pakistan cricket team under the leadership of captain Fatima Sana left for Dubai from Lahore Airport to participate in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
Before the World Cup, the Pakistani team will play two warm-up matches. The first warm-up match will be played against Scotland on September 28 and the second match against Bangladesh on September 30.
Pakistan Women's Cricket Team will play their opening match of the World Cup on Thursday, October 3 against Sri Lanka, while on Sunday, October 6, the Pakistan Women's Cricket Team will face traditional rivals India in the second match.
The national team will play the third match against Australia on Friday, October 11 and the fourth match against New Zealand on Monday, October 14.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi expressed good wishes for the women cricket team and said that the team is capable and talented, hoping that they will perform well in the ICC Women T20 World Cup.
Before leaving, national captain Fatima Sana said that they will play good cricket. The morale of the players is high and they will show full potential in the ICC T20 World Cup.
