Maryam Nawaz says PTI founder always talked about vandalism and attacks on police

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan had always talked about promoting violence in the country.
Addressing a ceremony on Wednesday, she lambasted PTI, saying, “The permission of staging the politics can be given, but not terrorism. Today, they [PTI] had called the protest, but hardly up to seven people poured on to the streets.”
She recalled the tenure of the former prime minister, saying, “The person who is now behind bars at Adiala jail had never announced free medicines. I have always heard about vandalism and attacks on police.”
“It is on my accounts that the PTI had called for the protests. But always remained unsuccessful. The situation was such that they [PTI] had compelled to bring people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP),” said CM Maryam.
