Pak Navy seizes Indian drug worth US $145m
The intelligence based operation was conducted in North Arabian Sea
Rawalpindi: In its successful operation maritime smugglers, the Pakistan Navy on has confiscated one hundred thousand illegal Indian made pills.
According to military media cell, Inter Services Public Relations, the operation was conducted by Pakistan Navy and Anti Narcotics Force, seizing huge quantity of drugs being smuggled worth of US $145 million.
“On October8, 2024, an Intelligence-Based counter narcotics operation was conducted by Pakistan Navy & ANF in North Arabian Sea in which approximately 2000x Kgs of Hashish, 370x Kgs of Ice and 50x Kgs of Heroin were seized by PNS Hunain,” ISPR stated on its X account.
It said that the seized items have been handed over to ANF for further legal proceedings.
