Operational issues: Four flights canceled, multiple delayed
Private airline and PIA flights from Karachi to Lahore were also delayed
Karachi: Four flights were canceled and 18 were delayed across the country due to administrative problems with airlines.
According to the aviation authorities, two flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from Karachi to Quetta have been canceled and two flights of foreign airlines from Sharjah to Quetta have also been canceled.
According to the officials, the private airline and PIA flights from Karachi to Lahore and the flights from Karachi to Islamabad were also delayed.
The aviation authorities stated that Karachi-Sukkur flight was delayed for departure by 1.5 hours, Multan to Jeddah PIA flight by 1.45 hours, Peshawar-Doha flight by one hour and Peshawar to Jeddah private airline flight delayed by one hour.
According to the authorities, the arrival and departure flights of London-Islamabad were delayed by two hours, the arrival of Islamabad-Dushanbe flights by one hour, Islamabad-Istanbul flight departure by one hour, arrival and departure flights of Karachi-Dubai by 1.45 hours and Karachi to Istanbul flight was delayed by 3.15 hours.
