IHC orders for medical board for Imran Khan's check-up
Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb ordered to include Khan's personal doctor in the board
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court on Thursday ordered to form medical board to check up the PTI founder Imran Khan.
Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb ordered to include Khan's personal doctor in the board.
The court ordered the Executive Director of PIMS to designate the board and submit the medical report to the Registrar’s Office.
Highlighting Khan’s age (72), his status as an under-trial prisoner, and his B-class incarceration, the court highlighted that security measures at Adiala Jail should not block his access to proper medical care.
This decision comes in response to Imran Khan's request for a medical check-up under the supervision of his personal doctors.
