Prices of light diesel oil and kerosene dropped by Rs2.61 and Rs1.48 per litre respectively

Islamabad: The federal government on Thursday increased the price of petrol by Rs1.35 per litre while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs3.85 per litre for the next fortnight.
As per a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, the new prices for petrol are Rs248.38 per litre and Rs255.14 per litre for HSD.
Meanwhile, the price of light diesel oil dropped by Rs2.61 to Rs147.51, and kerosene was reduced by Rs1.48 to Rs161.54 per litre.
These revised rates will take effect from November 1, 2024. Previously, the government maintained the petrol price but raised the price of HSD by Rs5 per litre on October 15.
