Islamabad: The Islamabad administration has declared the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Building I-9 as a sub-jail.

According to the details, because of the protests and arrests of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the administration has declared the CIA Building located in I-9 as a sub-jail.

The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad issued a notification declaring the CIA Building as a sub-jail, according to which the building has been declared a sub-jail under Section III of the Article Prisoners Act 1894.

The Ministry of Law and Parliamentary Affairs approved the construction of a sub-jail at the request of the Islamabad administration. Those arrested in the recent protests will be kept in this sub-jail.

It is pertinent to note that PTI leaders and workers are moving towards Islamabad from different areas to protest in Islamabad, while some convoys have even reached the federal capital.

After spending the night in a dhok ghar near Burhan Interchange last night, a PTI convoy coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has again started moving towards Islamabad under the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

On the other hand, the government has also completed preparations to deal with the protest of the PTI.

Today, all educational institutions in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Murree are closed, while due to the imposition of Section 144 in the twin cities, all kinds of protests and rallies are banned.

The administration has completely closed Faizabad in Rawalpindi by installing containers, and the Murree Road leading to Faizabad has been closed by parking trucks at the double road, due to which those going for work are facing severe difficulties.
