Sajid Khan took second wicket for Pakistan, making Aamir Jango his victim
Multan: West Indies are batting in the first innings of the second and final Test against Pakistan.
The West Indies batting line-up was once again shaken, with their six players returning to the pavilion at the beginning. Craig Brathwaite and Michael Lewis opened the innings for the visiting team. However, on a total of nine, Pakistan’s debutant fast bowler Kashif Ali had Michael Lewis caught behind the wickets in his first over.
Sajid Khan took the second wicket for Pakistan, making Aamir Jango his victim.
Toss
Earlier, in the second Test match being played at the International Cricket Stadium in Multan, West Indian captain Craig Brathwaite won the toss and decided to bat first.
On this occasion, the West Indies captain said that they would try to set a big total against Pakistan in the first innings.
National captain Shan Masood said on this occasion that they will attack with spinners to prevent the West Indian batting line from scoring big. One change has been made in the team, fast bowler Kashif Ali has been given a Test debut while Khurram Shahzad has been rested.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan has a one-nil lead in the two-Test series. Pakistan defeated the West Indies by 127 runs in the first match played in Multan. All 20 wickets from Pakistan were taken by spinners.
