City is experiencing dry conditions, with humidity at just 13%, and light dry winds are blowing from northeast


(Web Desk): Karachi's temperature has dropped significantly, with the city's temperature falling 6.3°C below its average for March, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department. Normally, the average temperature for this time of year is 19.4°C, but last night the temperature dropped to 13.1°C.
The city is experiencing dry conditions, with humidity at just 13%, and light dry winds are blowing from the northeast. Today, temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 30°C to 31°C, and the dry weather is expected to continue for the next 24 hours.
The Met Office also reported that night-time temperatures across Karachi were lower than normal. Mauripur recorded the coldest temperature at 10°C, followed by Jinnah Terminal at 11.5°C, Port Qasim at 13.6°C, Gulistan-e-Johar at 13.2°C, and Sharea Faisal at 12.5°C.
Other parts of Sindh also saw lower temperatures, with several areas recording temperatures in the single digits. Mohenjo Daro was the coldest, at 3°C, which is 11.1°C below average. Other areas like Mithi, Mirpurkhas, and Jacobabad also saw unusually low temperatures.
