PM lays wreath at Uzbekistan’s Independence & Humanism Monument
Tashkent: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday laid a wreath at Independence and Humanism Monument of Uzbekistan as a gesture of respect to the history and culture of the Uzbek people.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov accompanied the Premier at the Monument, marking the independence of Uzbekistan.
Imran Khan arrived in the Uzbek capital this afternoon on a two-day official visit, aimed at strengthening bilateral and trade ties with the Central Asian State.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi, National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf and Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Minister for Information Technology Atif Khan are also in Uzbekistan during the visit of prime minister.
