Policeman's wife 'takes her own life' for not having child
Peshawar: A woman allegedly committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills following a domestic issue in Khazana area on Monday, GNN reported.
The woman was taken to a hospital, but she failed to survive. The woman's husband is a police constable. The body was shifted for autopsy.
Police were told that the woman was usually taunted by her husband for not having a child. They said eact cause of death would be determined in the light of the post-mortem examination report.
Encounter
An alleged robber suffered injuries in a crossfire with the police in Karachi. Police shifted the injured to a hospital and seized his weapon and a motorcycle. The other suspect fled the scene.
