There was no progress on the applications due to unavailability of PTI founder

Islamabad: The court has extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.
The Additional District and Sessions Judge Afzal Majuka heard six pre-arrest bail applications of PTI founder Imran Khan and one bail application of his wife, Bushra Bibi.
During the hearing, arguments could not be made on the bail applications of the PTI founder even today, while a reserved decision could not be pronounced on the bail application of Bushra Bibi. There was no progress on the bail applications due to the unavailability of the PTI founder.
It is pertinent to note that the court had issued orders to produce the PTI founder or to appear via video link in the previous hearing.
After the hearing, the court adjourned the hearing on the pre-arrest bail applications until September 9. Today, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry, Advocate, appeared in the court on behalf of the PTI founder.
Notably, PTI founder Imran Khan has five cases registered under the provisions of protest, vandalism, and attempt to murder, while a case has also been registered against him and Bushra Bibi for submitting fake receipts to Toshakhana.
