Currently, 58 confirmed dengue patients are under treatment in hospitals


(Web Desk): The dangerous spread of dengue mosquitoes continues in Rawalpindi, with 27 new dengue cases reported in the past 24 hours.
According to the Health Department, a total of 10,305 people have been screened for dengue in Rawalpindi, out of which 622 have been confirmed positive. So far this year, no deaths from dengue have been reported.
Currently, 58 confirmed dengue patients are under treatment in hospitals. There are 1,499 dengue surveillance teams in operation, and 5,287,353 households have been inspected so far.
Out of these, 154,879 homes tested positive for dengue presence. A total of 1,415,120 spot checks have been conducted, out of which 20,585 spots were found positive.
Larvae were discovered at 175,464 locations, which were subsequently eliminated. Due to violations of dengue SOPs, 4,183 FIRs were registered, 1,760 buildings were sealed, and 3,389 challans (citations) were issued.
Fines amounting to Rs103.55 million have been imposed due to the presence of dengue larvae. Dengue larvae and patients have been found in Dhaman Syedan, Dhamial, Rinal, Dhoke Dalal, Dhoke Naju, and Dhoke Munshi.
Additionally, dengue larvae and cases have also been reported from Rehmatabad, Khanna Dak, Waris Khan, and Girja Lakhan.
