Defense Day of Pakistan will be observed throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan tomorrow with full enthusiasm and fervor to pay homage to martyrs who rendered sacrifice for defending the motherland.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, various political, social and literary organizations have arranged functions, seminars and rallies to highlight the significance of the day and pay homage to the valiant forces of the country.
In Muzaffarabad, the main function under the aegis of Kashmir Liberation Cell will be held wherein Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi will be the Chief Guest.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, a function in connection with Defence Day will be held at Mazar of Havaldar Lalik Jan Shaheed Nishn-e- Haider in Yasin, Ghizer, tomorrow.
Commander Force Command Northern Areas will lay floral reath at Hawaldar Lalak Jan's mazar and offer Fatiha.
Guard of honor will also be presented at the Mazar by a contingent of Pak Army.
