Sindh Assembly passes resolution against Media Authority Bill
Karachi: Sindh Assembly unanimously passed a resolution against the proposed black law of Pakistan Media Development Authority bill in the center, on Friday.
According to reports, the resolution was tabled by provincial Minister Saeed Ghani in the House and showed solidarity with the media.
The government’s backed resolution termed the proposed bill a ‘Black Law’ against the media and urged the federal government that it should not be passed in the parliament.
The resolution also demanded the federal government that it should take notice of the incident of locking up the journalists on the joint session of the parliament.
