Internet services in several areas of Lahore has started restoring, GNN reported
Lahore: Internet services in several areas of Lahore has started restoring, GNN reported.
According to the sources, internet services were suspended two days ago due to safety measurements and are back to normal in Garden town, Model town, Rewaaz garden,Krishan nagar and different areas of Provincial capital.
Government, earlier directed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to dismiss the internet services in Samna Abad, Shera Kot, nawa Kot, Gulshan Ravi, Sabza Zaar, and iqbal town due to security reasons.
Additionaly, Babu sabu, Faiz pur interchange are closed and metro busses are dismantle.
It is pertinent to mention here that different areas of Lahore are under protest in the leadership of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP).
Following the protests, police and protestors clashed, resulting in two casualities of police personnel. While, six cops sustained serious injuries.
