All schools to go back to ‘regular five day classes’ from March 01
Islamabad: Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on Thursday has announced that all schools will go back to regular five day classes from March 01, 2021.
Taking to twitter, the education minister tweeted that restrictions imposed in some major cities on schools to conduct staggered classes was only until February 28.

The government had decided to close educational institutions in November 2020 after country witnessed surge in Covid-19 cases and deaths in second wave of the coronavirus. On January 18, government reopened educational institutions following a two month closure.
Educational institutions saw months-long closure in early 2020 owing to coronavirus pandemic. They were shut down in March and then reopened in September only to be closed again the next month due to the continuous increase in coronavirus cases.
