World's most expensive biryani with edible 23-karat gold launched in Dubai
Dubai: Bombay Borough, a restaurant in Dubai, has launched a special biryani that is served in a large golden plate and is decorated with edible 23-karat gold leaves, making it the most expensive plate of the Mughal dish.
Bombay Borough's Royal Gold Biryani costs 1,000 dirhams, which is approximately Rs. 43,261.40 for a plate of biryani.
The biryani takes 45 minutes to be plated and comes in a giant golden metallic plate, served with three variations of rice including chicken biryani rice, keema rice, white and saffron rice.
Small potatoes, boiled eggs, mint leaves, roasted cashews, pomegranate seeds, and fried onions are added to it to bring out a unique flavour.
'The Royal Gold Biryani' is served with exquisite sauces, curries, and raita.
