Sangla Hill: Following a tragic incident, two sisters were allegedly strangled to death by patriarchal cousins on Sunday over marriage dispute near Sangla Hill the Nankana Sahib District of the Punjab, GNN reported.

The victims, Sajjal and Hijab who was 17 and 14-years old respectively were strangled by their cousins identified as Waqas and Ishtiaq. Both girls had wanted to marry of their choice.
Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and took the body into their custody. After taking necessary action, they handed the body over to the victim’s heirs.
The accused have been arrested and further investigation is underway.
